I did not have an active LinkedIn profile prior to this course. I had one years ago that was deleted and I never utilized it correctly. I took this course for the networking aspect and ended up with a pretty decent profile. I found the networking information to be highly valuable. I've only just started with sending out connection requests so we will see where this leads me! I did not understand the importance of and how to network on LinkedIn, prior to Dr. Huntley's podcasts and this course.

I found this course to be very helpful in getting my LinkedIn profile up to speed. Dr. Huntley shares tips on how to write your job descriptions, headlines, and more! The course is very thorough and easy to follow along. Since taking this course, I have received hundreds of new and meaningful connections. I highly recommend it!

I genuinely enjoyed this course. I had my LinkedIn profile for quite some time, but never really knew how to use it. This course walks you through LinkedIn step-by-step. Dr. Huntley uses her own profile as an example so for visual learners like myself, it was easy to see what she is talking about. Not only can you take your own notes, but PDF notes are supplied by Dr. Huntley from each section. I printed them off and used them as a guideline when making changes to my own profile. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to maximize their usage of their LinkedIn platform. I gained valuable knowledge through this course.

This course on optimizing LinkedIn provides immense value. Even though I have been using LinkedIn for several years now, I learned a lot from the personal success Dr. Huntley has had with LinkedIn. The program explained the relative value of the different sections in the LinkedIn profile and why presenting information in a certain manner makes a profile more effective. In general, Dr. Huntley’s humble rather than arrogant communication style is an inspiration. The course made engaging on LinkedIn a pleasure and a greater benefit. Here I want to share a small win that I have experienced due to my participation in the optimizing LinkedIn program. Before using Dr. Huntley's strategies for effective engagement on LinkedIn I was receiving only a few requests to connect. Now I am receiving more requests to connect but these connections are, more often than not, from people who are in my area of expertise. It is truly exciting to read their posts and status updates on our area of shared interest in public health and gives me renewed motivation as I go through my workday. "
